Overcoming Obstacles Thru Fitness
Overcoming Obstacles Thru Fitness
Here at Fitness for Autism we take a more holistic approach in supporting our clients. We place an emphasis on fostering independence, confidence building, and social skills through physical activity. We have created an inclusive environment where clients can check in on their own, engage in challenging movements, and participate in interactive games that not only promotes physical well-being but also contributes significantly to their overall personal development.
The incorporation of an emotional support dog, Moe, adds another layer of support by providing both physical touch and companionship. Envision clients running around and playing with Moe, not only for exercise but also for the emotional benefits that such interactions can bring.
We are noteworthy for our commitment to building a sense of community and family within Fitness for Autism. Our one-on-one training coupled with occasional partner exercises helps strike a balance between individualized attention and social interaction, providing a well-rounded experience for the clients.
We are dedicated to addressing personal issues in the lives of our clients expressing our genuine concern for their well-being beyond just physical fitness. Our focus on building social interaction skills through open conversations is a valuable aspect of our program.
In essence, Fitness for Autism has created a supportive and inclusive space that goes beyond traditional fitness training. Our emphasis on lifestyle and the development of a close-knit community reflects a deep understanding of the unique needs of individuals with autism. ****We are a vendor with Tri-Counties Regional Center****

Trainer for Special Needs Fitness | Advocate for Inclusive Wellness Physical Education Teacher |
I have always had a passion for working with children and individuals with special needs, which has shaped my career as a Physical Education teacher and trainer.
With over 10 years of experience in education and two years specialising in fitness for individuals with special needs, I believe deeply in the transformative power of sports and movement. Having been involved in sports since the age of 7, I’ve witnessed how physical activity can build confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging, and I am dedicated to helping others experience these benefits, regardless of ability.
In my work, I focus on creating inclusive, adaptable, and empowering environments where every child and individual feels valued and supported. Whether in a classroom or a fitness setting, I tailor my programs to meet each person’s unique needs, promoting not just physical health but also mental well-being and social connection. I am committed to helping students and clients unlock their full potential, fostering self-esteem, and encouraging a lifelong love for movement.
I believe that sports can change the world, and I am proud to play a role in making that change by empowering individuals through fitness and movement.
